Why MCA?
We're Building World Changers

Maranatha Christian Academy is a ministry of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  We believe He has built a school that continues to grow ever more effective in raising up world changers for Him.  We believe God has made us successful in the following ways:

KingdomeducationKingdom Education:

Everything done at the Academy, especially in the classroom, is aimed at bringing glory to God.  This means every lesson taught has the objective of revealing God and His universe and unlocking the potential in every child.

Academic Distinction

Our students are enabled to excel through academicsacademics
today and in preparation for college.  They are
challenged with university level competitions, high
stakes testing, critical thinking application, and,
finally at our Senior Review Panel.

2015 Boys CC ChampionsCo-Curricular Achievement

Our students win the highest honors in the state in vocal music, band and sports on a regular basis.  We own the Guinness Book of World Record for longest march for a marching band at 52 miles.  We have several state championships in sports like soccer, track and cross-country.  Most importantly we have received several recognitions for sportsmanship as an Academy.

Church Partnerships

bibleWe have energetically pursued relationships with
local churches to partner in the preparation of
young people to be mature in their faith so that
they can share the Good News and stand strong
in the face of adversity.  Some manifestations of this
partnership are pastors speaking in our classrooms
and chapels, our students doing Serve Day projects
at churches, and pastors breaking bread with our
School Board while sharing plans and counsel.

developmentWhole Child Development

MCA is intentional in giving every opportunity for the child to develop spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally.  That is why we offer Serve Days, sponsor mission trips, treat athletic competition as an extension of the classroom, and offer additional opportunities for our students to make a difference in the community and world around them.
