While being raised in a family that frequented our little church at least three times each week, I accepted Jesus as my Savior at five years old.  I continue to learn more about the character of God and His amazing mercy.  My ministry experiences include being a pastor’s wife, playing the piano, teaching Sunday School, leading the youth group, and directing summer camps.
I graduated from high school in the beautiful state of Wyoming and earned my college degrees in Kansas.  I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education (English) and a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration.
Believing God opened the path for me to be at Maranatha Academy, I am excited about teaching English 9 and 12. This is my seventeenth year in the classroom, and I still love teaching.  When I am not grading papers, I enjoy spending time with my daughters, reading, attending sports events, and being behind the lens of a camera.  I have been married to a firefighter/paramedic for twenty years.
