I am thrilled to be returning to Maranatha Christian Academy. My name is Leonora Feldman and I will be teaching third grade. I am wife to Oscar Feldman, mother to grown children Jered, Leilani, and Candace, and “Ema” (grandmother) to Gavin and Kanoa Cobb. Born in Hawaii and having lived all over the United States our family finally settled in the Midwest. I received my Education degree from Ottawa University and my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kansas. Christian education has been a part of my experience for more than 30 years particularly in third and fourth grades. If asked which subject is my favorite, I would have to say all of them. The subject of Bible is of utmost importance but I find it is valued even more by showing God’s purposeful working throughout the entire day of learning. As a part of Maranatha Christian Academy, I believe all believers are world changers either positive or negative. I am on board to be a positive world changer for my students and of the faculty of my school. Whatever time I have I spend in my garden, reading or going on dates with hubby or grandsons.
Psalm 103: 1-2
“Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me bless His holy name.
Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not all His benefits.”
