Commitment to Academic Excellence

Maranatha’s elementary program provides a foundation for all learning by establishing good study and organizational skills and adding fuel to the learning fire.  Students mature in responsibility, critical thinking, and leadership as they progress from the primary to intermediate grades.  In everything we do, we desire excellence.  This requires us to know each child and how best to enable that child to be successful.  We leverage individualized teaching, helps class before and after school, a learning center, and opportunities to be involved in classes(music, Spanish, band, computers, PE) beyond core classes(Bible, science, math, language).  Opportunities for academic advancement and competition are available through the Association of Christian Schools meets including the Spelling Bee, Math Olympics, and Speech, Art, and Music festivals. Leadership opportunities are available through service in chapels and other school activities.
