Maranatha Christian is a college-preparatory school with age-appropriate, curricular standardized testing, at each level of our K-12 classes. Beginning with a firm foundation in our Kinder-Prep Pre-School, progressing through Elementary School, Junior High, and High School we pursue Academic Excellence and mastery of subject-area. Students are guided by teachers who subject area experts, certified in their fields of study, with a passion to teach their students the subjects they love.

In 2018, out of 35 seniors, 1 student earned a perfect score on the English portion of the ACT and 5 earned a composite score of 32 or above– within the top 3% nationally!
MCA is proud to host the Regional ACSI Spelling Bee and has earned top awards in the Spelling Bee and also garnished top awards in the ACSI Elementary Math completion at three different levels!
In the 17-18 school year, MCA launched a new initiative focused on aligning academic standards with assessment by using the ACT Aspire program. As a team of educators, we are continuously working to align our curricular resources with the ACT Aspire standards and Kansas learning standards in order to prepare students for college and career readiness and provide measurable benchmarks for improvement. Teachers participate throughout the year in professional development supporting the implementation of highly effective instruction.
At the heart of the KinderPrep Preschool Program is the development of a strong academic foundation for our youngest learners. To support this goal, all preschool teachers participate in personalized professional development throughout the year. Students that graduate from our program leave confident in knowing colors, shapes, letter sounds and recognition, number recognition and counting and their scores on the Brigance Test show their preparation for Kindergarten.
