It has been such a busy, but wonderful week at Maranatha! My very favorite part of this week was Grandparents’ Day! It was so much fun to see our gym and classrooms full of grandparents, and our students were so excited to share what we are learning at MCA with our families! In the elementary assembly, classes shared Bible verses, song, and the “SOAR Rap”, as well as worshipping together, and in the preschool students and grandparents did crafts together and had a snack.
One of the most special parts of our Grandparents’ Day was having worship time with Kindergarten-6th graders! Every week, we hold separate chapels and it is always special to worship with our kiddos at both the North Campus and the South Campus, but it was an extra-special blessing to be able to lift up our voices with ALL of our elementary students and their families! We are so privileged to be able to honor our grandparents through sharing Scripture and song, and I hope our grandparents were all blessed to see evidence of the legacy they are building through their children and grandchildren.
