Bryan Burdette
Physical Education Dept. Head

I think that God is in everything around us, and that life is a continual opportunity for us to build a testimony of Gods Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, and Self Control in our lives.  Our lives are like a recording, and everything that happens to us, is a chance to show those around us that God is bigger and better than anything the world has to offer us. The only way to genuinely be fulfilled in life is to give to others what God has so graciously given us.

I have been Coaching since 1990 and Teaching since 1993. I have spend my entire career in three different schools in Southeast Kansas.  I have taught many different Technology Classes, Woodworking, and Building Trades.  I also served as a building level Technology Facilitator and 1-1 Initiative Administrator.  Of my coaching experience, I spent 1 year coaching at a Junior College, and I was Head Coach at Southeast High School in Cherokee, Kansas for 9 years.

Kristine, my Bride of 20 years also works for Maranatha as the high school cheer coach.  We have 4 children, Bryce,  Jace, Nate, and Kate.  God has relocated us from SEK, and we are very excited to join the Maranatha Family.  We have felt at home from the very first day, and we are excited to join in the work that God has for the amazing Maranatha Community.
Philippians 4:6-7
6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
