David Hensarling

I began teaching in the Math Department of the secondary school of MCA in January of 2015, originally teaching Pre-Algebra and Geometry. In the Fall of 2016 I began teaching the Algebras 1 & 2 courses as well as Business Math. I am looking forward to also teaching a Bible course for the 2017 school year. I was raised in a Christian home, the youngest of six children and the son of a pastor. As a young boy I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. In 1987,  I graduated from Calvary Bible College and began teaching. I have over twenty years of experience teaching a variety of math courses to junior and senior high students, primarily in Christian schools.

I and my wife, Rhonda are blessed with three children, Natalie, who began attending College of the Ozarks in 2015 where she is a musical theater major, Seth, who will be attending Kansas State University in the Fall of 2017 where he will major in civil engineering and Daniel, who will begin his sophomore year in high school in the Fall of 2017. Our family lives in Olathe and attend Countryside Baptist church where I have had the privilege of serving as a deacon in the church. Some of My hobbies include spending time with family, sports, and hiking in the mountains when time permits.

I am pleased to serve Christ alongside so many others in the MCA community and look forward to ministering with you as we pursue the mission of Maranatha in the service of our Lord Jesus Christ.
