Jeremy Ediger
Science Dept. Head

Jeremy Ediger is a 7th-12th grade Science teacher at Maranatha. He thoroughly enjoys working with students and bringing them up in the Lord. He has been at Maranatha since 2010 and holds a B.S. in Secondary Education Science from Kansas State University.

Mr. Ediger has shown his flexibility by holding several different positions throughout the school. His tenure at the school started when the previous Chemistry and Physics teacher left after spring break in 2010. He has held the position of Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Life science, Anatomy, and Microsoft Office instructor. He has also coached the Junior High boys basketball team and was a sponsor of the Class of 2012 and Class of 2017. He is currently professionally licensed in the three major sciences of Chemistry, Physics, and Biology.

Mr. Ediger attends the Church of the Resurrection in Leawood and takes part in many of their programs there.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Madison, and daughter, Avery; reading science fiction; playing sports, especially basketball; and watching his Cats go on to victory.
