Ted Hanlon

I followed the Lords calling to Maranatha in 2007 after several years in the public school system. Teaching is a second career, the first having been in the airline industry. I graduated from college with a BA in Speech, Theatre and Broadcasting with a degree in Education and a Masters of Education coming much later in my life. I was married to Lisa in 1992, who works as a scientist for the Environment Protection Agency. We have 2 children – Christine, who graduated from MCA in 2014 and is currently a student at John Brown University and Caleb, who attends Wheaton College in Illinois. In my first years of teaching in the public schools, I felt as the Psalmist must have felt when he penned the 42nd chapter….as the deer longing for flowing streams. I have found refreshment and redemption at Maranatha through faculty, staff and parents, where administering the Gospel of Jesus Christ is an everyday affair.

“but those who keep waiting for the LORD will renew their strength. Then they'll soar on wings like eagles; they'll run and not grow weary; they'll walk and not grow tired." Isaiah 40:31
