The son of an itinerant farmer, I was living in house # 6 when my kindergarten teacher informed my parents that they should resign themselves to the knowledge that I would never achieve anything. While studying for a business degree in college, I had the opportunity to be a Sunday School teacher to a class of 300 peers, and I fell in love with teaching. Forty-plus years later, I still love teaching; it is the knowledge that I “touch tomorrow” that keeps me going.
