What is Your Bio in a Few Sentences?
I was born in North Kansas City, MO and grew up in Overland Park, KS. I’m an only child, and have always followed the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs, and have done quite a bit of traveling since childhood. I became a Christian through Icthus, a campus ministry at KU, and worked many summers at Kanakuk Kamps in south Missouri. I always had hoped to teach in a Christian school, and I got that opportunity here at Maranatha beginning in 2015 after 32 years of teaching in Blue Valley.

I’m pretty fluent in U.S. Presidential history, baseball history, travel planning, and music trivia from the 1960’s, ’70’s and ’80’s – which I’ve accumulated from enjoying those hobbies since I was in grade school.
